Harry Potter Preview
Saw Harry Potter tonight, it was pretty awesome. (I promise no spoilers)

Long lines are long and as usual passes don't garrantee you seeing the movie (and no one seems to realize that for BIG movies, MORE PEOPLE ACTUALLY SHOW UP!)
So it was sold out, I joined the people I was going with and we were the last 4/5 tickets that media didn't pick up.
The poor ladies behind us had to pick one to see and one to miss or give it to someone else.

I had a beef with the costumes. (No suprise there) mainly because there was a scene with students walking down the halls with backpacks....
Now I know they went away from them wearing robes (I still don't agree with that) but even in Britain I'm pretty sure most students don't have backpacks over bookbags, so why the wizards suddenly have them confuses me....

Also, Narcissa was too old in my opinion. She's probably one of my favourite characters, and she's only allowed in 5 minutes of this movie and was COMPLETELY shafted from the last one. Then she's got odd hair... (Do not like random backwards skunk thing they had going on with it, she's BLONDE) and just looked rather old for the idea I had in my head of how pretty she was. It was dissapointing.

Overall, it was good. The normal things were left out as always but it was really good and I enjoyed it. Even more just because I got to see a preview again, and those are always fun (I got a poster)

and everyone else were in the first theatre, we were in the second. Still fun though even though I didn't get to see them ^^'


Cosplay
I'm finally getting around to finishing my cosplays... sorta.

Currently I'm just working on two. I'm going to finish my Maka to take some pictures with in her Chrona next weekend, and then I'll work on my Evangelion cosplay that's for next year.

Right now I've just got the end of the jacket to finish and my scythe which is mostly done. We'll see how it all turns out though ^^'


Life
In general it's about the same.

I still can't get a job so I've been babysitting, and the money I have made will currently be going to the root canal I'm having done on Wednesday.

I honestly wonder, does this happen to everyone who hates the dentist? I'm so afraid of it that I never went and I was fine. When I did go before I needed a retainer, almost braces and they'd constantly want to pull more of my teeth. So I stopped going.

I finally work up the courage to go back, get a few cavities filled then everything seems to get worse...
I started having the fillings fall out, and getting them between teeth even when I floss. That's why I now need a root canal...

I hate the dentist.

And hopefully I can get a job at some point, but right now I'm thinking I might have to take commissions or something... at least I know I could do them.
Not sure if anyone would want anything I sew...

So question since most people don't read this anyway. If I made cosplay or accessories would you commission me? What if I offered help for anyone in the area who still wants to make their own but gets stuck?
Or, what if I made specific patterns for various cosplays? Would you order from me? (This one only comes up now since I know how to make patterns. school was good for something I guess)
